Lucretia

Scribbling fun with water soluble oil pastels in a whimsical journal page.

Continuing with the playful and nonsensical in the 2D format. I'm attempting to build a crown at the moment to add to one of my Bottle Babes figures and it's giving me a headache. Building 3D figures is a whole new area for me, so it moves slowly. Mistakes happen, but I am learning. This is a good thing.

  1. Deb I love the page, so whimsical and I love purple :oD
For the bottle babes, have you tried fabric and "stiffy"? Some textured fabric can turn hard as clay with that liquid.

    1. Thanks for that reminder, Martha! I used that stiffy stuff many years ago on another project and that might work! I forgot about it.

I'm trying to use some cut out cardboard shapes right now and once it's dry I have to affix it to the structure. I hope to get it finished before your 29 Faces Challenge has ended......

    1. Thanks, Coleen. I love Teal and Purples as well. These oil pastels that I use are water soluble, so it's fun to play with them.
